ABEL Pilates Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions are set to help you enjoy every ABEL Pilates class/session and to make all classes/sessions a safe place to practice. Booking a class or private session (face to face or virtual) with ABEL Pilates is in agreement with the Terms and Condition set out below:
Liability Release
· I understand I will be participating in an ABEL Pilates class/session which may include strenuous physical exercise.
· I agree to stop doing an exercise and tell the instructor if I feel discomfort or pain.
· I agree to work at a level that is right for my body.
· I agree to ask the instructor if I am not sure or need further help.
· I will complete the ABEL Pilates enrolment form in the booking system prior to my first class and keep my teacher updated of any changes in my health.
· I agree to follow all instructions, including abstaining if I am told an exercise is not suitable for me.
· I understand that ABEL Pilates is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of my personal belongings while I attend class.
· I agree not to record a class in any form.
· I agree I will not be refunded for a class that I do not turn up to.
· I agree if there are not enough people booked onto a block for the term, the block may be cancelled and a full refund given.
· I agree the instructor will not take any responsibility for injury or accident caused to myself during a class/session
· I understand the instructor may give hands on corrections. I agree to let the teacher know in advance if I do not want physical, hands on correction.
· I agree not to attend class if I feel unwell.
· I understand all exercise carries a risk and I voluntarily participate in ABEL Pilates classes/sessions and take full responsibility, with full knowledge that there is a risk of personal injury, accident or property loss.
Booking Options, Refunds, Cancellations
Classes can be booked in 4 ways:
• Auto-enrolment for the term
This option automatically enrols you into the same class every week for a term. Prices varies according to length of term. Individual classes within the block cannot be transferred into another class in another block. You will be booked into the same class, every week of the term. You are only permitted to attend classes in the term purchased. Cannot be carried over into the next term.
• A pack of 4 class credits
This option adds 4 class credits to your account and is valid for 50 days from date of purchase. You can use the credits to book into any 4 classes. After 50 days the pack will expire regardless of whether all credits have been used. The pack cannot be extended. Credits must be used before expiry date.. It offers flexibility if you are unable to attend all the classes in a block and/or unable to commit to the same class every week. You are required to manage your bookings online to book into classes (subject to availability) . If a class is full, there is an option to join a wait list and receive notification if a space becomes available.
• A pack of 10 class credits
This option adds 10 class credits to your account and is valid for 100 days from date of purchase. You can use the credits to book into any 10 classes. After 100 days the pack will expire regardless of whether all credits have been used. The pack cannot be extended. Credits must be used before expiry date. It offers flexibility if you are unable to attend all the classes in a block and/or unable to commit to the same class every week. You are required to manage your bookings online to book into classes (subject to availability) . If a class is full, there is an option to join a wait list and receive notification if a space becomes available.
• A single drop-in class..
This option books a single class only and can only be used in the class it is purchased for. It is not transferable to other classes.
Cancellation of a single class at least 24 hours before the class starts gives a 100% refund via the payment method. Cancellations less than 24 hours will incur full charge of the class.
Cancellation of a class within an auto-enrol term booking will not receive a refund or class credit and cannot be used in a different block. Following booking an auto-enrol term booking, ABEL Pilates is under no obligation to refund or roll over to a later term if unable to attend part or the entire term.
Cancellation of a class purchased via a pack of 4 credis or 10 credits at least 24 hours before the class are given as a class credit. You can use the class credit to book into any class (subject to availability) and subject to expiry date. Cancellations less than 24hours will incur full charge of the class.
4x class credits expire within 50 days of purchase and cannot be extended.
10x class credits expire within 100 days of purchase and cannot be extended.
Private sessions are not transferable to another person. Cancellation of a private session up to 48 hours before the session are at no charge. Cancellations less than 48 hours will incur full charge for the session.
Private sessions must be used within 6 months (180 days) of booking.
If the booking is being made for someone else, you are responsible to inform the person of these terms and conditions.
Cancelled Classes
In the event of a cancelled class due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. sickness/flooding) ABEL Pilates will try where possible to reschedule or re-locate the class. If this is not possible, a refund will be given. A fully qualified and insured cover teacher may cover the class if the teacher is absent.
Medical/Health Conditions
It is the client’s responsibility to inform ABEL Pilates of any existing medical/health conditions. All clients must complete the health/medical questions on the enrolment form prior to their first class. Clients must inform ABEL Pilates of any changes to their health/medical information. All information will be kept confidential (see privacy policy)
Adverse Weather
Abel Pilates are under no obligation to refund classes missed due to adverse weather.
Withdrawal of Service
ABEL Pilates may, at their own discretion, withhold the right to refuse entry to a client to their class/session if it is felt that the client’s behaviour is unreasonable. In this event, no refund can be given.
Personal Belongings
ABEL Pilates cannot accept responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal possessions. It is advisable to bring minimal personal belongings to class.
Equipment
All clients are asked to bring their own mat to class. If you have forgotten your mat you can borrow a sanitised spare mat. You will be required to sanitise the mat after your practice. Sanitiser and cloth will be provided.
Health and Hygiene
Outer footwear must not be worn in the hall. ABEL Pilates will ensure the floors are clean.
